Global headquarters

To prepare for our long term future we have invested in a new corporate headquarters at Macquarie University’s campus. The purpose-built facilities have been developed to meet the current and future operational requirements of Cochlear and will house manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Clinical and Regulatory as well as corporate functions. Cochlear's Asia-Pacific regional headquarters and Australian sales office are also located in the new facility, allowing increased collaboration with the fast-growing Asia-Pacific business unit. The move onto the campus is already creating opportunities for collaboration between Cochlear and Macquarie University, such as The Inclusive Practice Forum.

Leading in collaboration

Currently in development, The Australian Hearing Hub at Macquarie University will be a unique, world-class facility designed to foster collaborative research into hearing and related speech and language disorders.

It will bring together leading teams in areas such as research, professional training, clinical research, product development, clinical services and related social services. Organisations that have committed to collaborating in the Australian Hearing Hub include Macquarie University's teams in Language Sciences, Cognitive Sciences, Audiology and Speech Language Pathology, major government research organisations such as Australian Hearing with the National Acoustic Laboratories, major not-for-profit organisations like the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children as well as The Shepherd Centre and Cochlear, the industry leader in implantable hearing solutions.

Together, Cochlear's HQ and the Australian Hearing Hub will help to make the campus a true global leader for hearing and related disorders.
